Lion Phina Origho PMJF, NLCF a devout Christian was born six decades ago. She hails from Ughelli south local government area of Delta state.

She attended St Ambrose primary school in Ughelli, proceeded to St Theresa’s grammar school Ughelli where she obtained WASC and proceeded to college of education Warri and obtained National Certificate of Education (NCE). She went further to pursue her BSc Education in Home Economics at Delta State University Abraka. And also did her Masters degree in labour relations at the same university.

Her career began when she joined the then Bendel state Education Board as a classroom teacher. She climbed the occupational ladder and rose to the position of merit grade principal; from there she was transferred to the Post Primary Education Board Asaba as Education director until she retired from service.

Lion Phina origho is the founder of a foundation named “Enuma save the children initiative” an organization set out to give succor to the less privileged children in the community. Before devoting herself to this NGO, she has always been a philanthropist. She is a charter member of Eko legacy Lions club in district 404B2. She has held several positions in various capacities in the district. Some of which are

  1. The Coordinator of Global Membership Team
  2. Treasurer of the district sustainability committee
  3. ⁠Region chairperson, to mention but a few.

She served as Second Vice District Governor during the 2025-2026 Lions Service Year

As GMT coordinator, she championed the growth effort that culminated in the district chartering a record number of clubs in the 2024-2025 Lions Service year, a feat that won the district the prestigious Lions Internation Jesse Robison Award. She was also recognized with the New Clubs Target Achiever Award for Constitutional Area VIII Africa that same year

She is currently the Managing director of plamj group Nigeria Limited, a vibrant hospitality organization and she is happily married to Engr O. P Origho with the union blessed with five children and many grandchildren.
