A new chapter in the history of Lions District 404B5 Nigeria is about to unfold.
From 16th to 19th July 2026, Lion leaders from across the district will converge at AB Hotel, Adebayo Road, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, for the Inaugural Strategic Retreat, Leadership Training and Cabinet Meeting, the first major leadership gathering since the creation of District 404B5.
More than just a meeting, this retreat represents the foundation upon which the district’s future will be built. It is where vision will meet strategy, leadership will be strengthened, and relationships that will drive service excellence throughout the 2026–2027 Lions year will be forged.
With the inspiring theme, “Behold; The Power of Service,” participants will engage in thought-provoking strategic planning sessions, intensive leadership development, and meaningful discussions designed to align the district’s goals with the global mission of Lions Clubs International. The retreat will also provide an opportunity for cabinet members and district leaders to develop practical strategies that will enhance membership growth, impactful service projects, leadership succession, marketing, youth engagement, and community partnerships.
As the inaugural retreat of the newly bifurcated district, this gathering carries historic significance. It symbolizes a shared commitment to building a district that is united in purpose, innovative in service, and relentless in its pursuit of humanitarian impact.
The event will bring together experienced Lions, emerging leaders, and cabinet officers, creating an atmosphere of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. Through knowledge sharing and strategic conversations, participants will be equipped with the tools needed to lead their clubs and communities with greater effectiveness throughout the service year.
District Governor Lion Phina Nwanodo Origho PMJF, NLCF has extended an invitation to all eligible Lions to be part of this landmark event, emphasizing that the future of District 404B5 will be shaped by the collective vision and commitment of its leaders.
