At the just concluded 19th Multiple District 404 Nigeria Convention, tagged “Asaba Amaka 2026,” held in Asaba, Delta State, members of Lions Clubs gathered to celebrate leadership, service, and the continued growth of the organization.
During the grand banquet night, the Multiple Council Chairperson, Lion (Dr.) Ibrahim Jide Bello, PMJF, NLCF, formally presented the newly elected leadership team of the newly created Lions District 404B5 to the public.
The leadership team comprises:
- Lion Phina Origho, PMJF, NLCF — District Governor
- Lion Seyi Akinade Michael, MJF, NLCF — First Vice District Governor
- Lion Tosin Ijaduola, MJF, NLCF — Second Vice District Governor
Lion Phina Origho is a seasoned Lion leader whose journey in service has been characterised by dedication, compassion, and commitment to humanitarian causes. A charter member of Eko Legacy Lions Club, she has served in various capacities within Lions Clubs International, including roles that have contributed to membership growth, sustainability, and community development.
Beyond Lions service, Lion Origho is recognised for her passion for supporting vulnerable members of society through humanitarian initiatives. She is the founder of the Enuma Save The Children Initiative, an organisation focused on providing support and hope to less privileged children.
Her emergence as District Governor represents a significant milestone for District 404B5 and highlights the continued commitment of Lions Clubs International to purposeful leadership, inclusion, and impactful service.
The presentation marked a significant milestone in the journey of District 404B5 as it prepares to commence a new era of impactful leadership, growth, and humanitarian service.
The newly presented leaders bring with them years of experience, dedication, and commitment to the Lions’ mission of “We Serve.” Their emergence reflects the confidence of Lions members in their ability to provide purposeful leadership and drive meaningful change across communities.
The banquet provided a platform not only to recognize the incoming leaders but also to celebrate the spirit of unity, fellowship, and service that continues to strengthen Lions Clubs across Nigeria. The occasion was filled with excitement, pride, and renewed commitment as Lions from across Nigeria celebrated the birth of another district poised to contribute meaningfully to humanitarian service
With the unveiling of the new leadership team, District 404B5 begins a promising chapter filled with renewed energy, vision, and commitment to service.
