The award, presented during the Lions Clubs International Convention in Hong Kong, celebrated district leaders from around the world who demonstrated exceptional commitment to membership growth and concluded the service year with outstanding results in strengthening their districts.

The Strong Finish Award is regarded as one of the Membership Development Division’s highest recognitions, reserved for district governors who successfully achieved significant membership milestones while finishing their tenure with measurable and lasting impact.

Her recognition underscored a leadership journey characterised by vision, dedication, and resilience. Throughout her tenure, she championed initiatives that encouraged clubs to embrace innovation, strengthened the district’s membership base, and inspired Lions to pursue excellence in service.

Speaking on the significance of the honour, Lions members described the award as a fitting tribute to a leader whose legacy extended beyond statistics and achievements. They noted that her administration prioritised growth over comfort, service above self, and legacy over personal acclaim, leaving behind a vibrant bifurcated district.
